About Fx2Fund

Fx2Fund is a weekly skill-based trading contest. Every entrant gets an identical $100,000 demo account and one week to trade any market they choose — forex, indices, metals, even crypto, around the clock. 70% of every entry fee goes straight into the prize pool, and at the end of the week the top 100 traders are paid out on performance — with 1st place taking 10% of the pool. No real capital at risk — just your skill against the field.

Entry fees build the pool — but every contest is backed to a $10,000 minimum. If a week draws a smaller field, Fx2Fund tops the pool up from its own reserve, so the top 100 always compete for a worthwhile prize. It’s a safety net funded by the 30% of fees we retain — see the FAQ for the full breakdown.

How the rankings work

Winning is simple: make the most profit with the lowest risk. Every trader gets an R:R Rating — your reward measured against your drawdown — computed from verified trade data, never self-reported. Whoever grows their account the most without big losses ranks #1. The leaderboard refreshes hourly, trader names are masked for privacy (first name + initial), and every trader is scored by the exact same formula.

Verified Results Scored straight from real trade data — no self-reports.
Hourly Refresh Ranks update every hour from live trade data.
Privacy-Preserved Names masked. Account IDs never exposed.
Public Transparency Same methodology for every trader. No exceptions.

No subscriptions. Pay per entry, trade for a week, take your shot at the prize pool.

Frequent questions

FAQ

  • 1. What is Fx2Fund?

Fx2Fund runs a weekly trading contest. You pay a $29.99 entry fee, receive a $100,000 MT4/MT5 demo account, and trade for one week. Every entry fee is pooled — 70% becomes prize money — and the top 100 traders are paid out at the end of the week, with 1st place taking 10% of the pool.

  • 2. How much does it cost to enter?

A flat $29.99 per contest. There are no subscriptions and no other fees. 70% of every entry fee goes into that week's prize pool; the remaining 30% runs the platform.

  • 3. How is the prize pool decided?

The prize pool is 70% of all entry fees collected for that week — so the more traders enter, the bigger the pool. For example, a contest with 4,000 entries collects about $120,000 in fees and builds a prize pool of roughly $84,000. It is split among the top 100 on a fixed tiered curve weighted toward the podium but broadly distributed: 1st place takes 10% (≈$8,400 in that example), 2nd place 7.05% (≈$5,922), and 3rd place 5.02% (≈$4,217). The remaining ~78% is spread across ranks 4-100 so even rank 100 still wins ~$215 in that example — entry-fee multiples for every visible finisher. And no matter how small the field, the pool is guaranteed never to fall below $10,000 — if entry fees fall short, Fx2Fund tops it up.

  • 4. How do I win the contest?

It is simple — make the most profit with the lowest risk. You are not ranked on raw profit alone; you are ranked on your R:R Rating, which weighs how much you gained against how far your account fell along the way (your maximum drawdown). For example: Trader A finishes the week up 30%, but his account swung 25% into the red getting there. Trader B finishes up 20%, never dropping more than 5%. Trader A made the bigger gain — but Trader B wins, because B grew the account strongly without the wild risk. Steady, controlled trading beats reckless gambling. One rule keeps it honest: no single trade may account for more than half of your total profit, so you cannot win on a single lucky bet.

  • 5. Do I need my own broker or capital?

No. You don't risk any real money and you don't bring your own broker. When the contest starts we issue you a fresh $100,000 MT4/MT5 demo account — everyone competes on an identical account.

  • 6. How does the referral program work?

Share your referral link. When a friend enters using it, they save 10% on our platform fee (about $0.90 off a $29.99 entry), and you earn 10% of the platform fee — for life. The 70% prize-pool contribution is unaffected. Your referral link lives in the Affiliate tab inside your dashboard after you sign up.

  • 7. Can I get a refund on my entry?

Entry fees fund the prize pool, so they are generally non-refundable once a contest begins. If a contest is cancelled before it starts, entries are refunded in full. Read our full Refund Policy for details.

  • 8. How do I trade my contest account?

After you enter, your dashboard shows your MT4/MT5 login, password and server. Sign in with your standard MetaTrader desktop or mobile app using those credentials, and trade however you like — same tools every retail trader already uses.

  • 17. What is the R:R Rating?

Your R:R Rating — short for reward-to-risk — is the single score that decides the leaderboard. It weighs how much profit you made against how far your account fell along the way (your maximum drawdown). Higher is better. For example, a trader who finishes up 25% with only a 6% drawdown out-ranks one who finishes up 40% but had a 35% drawdown — the first earned a strong return with far less risk. Your R:R Rating updates live on the leaderboard all week, so you always know exactly where you stand.

  • 18. Do I need trading experience to enter?

No. The contest is open to everyone aged 18 and over, from complete beginners to seasoned pros. You trade a risk-free demo account, so it is a safe place to learn and test yourself. Prizes do go to skill — the better you manage your trades and control your drawdown, the higher your R:R Rating — but many traders use their first few contests purely to practise and find their feet.

  • 19. Can I use trading bots or Expert Advisors?

Yes. Your contest account is a standard MT4/MT5 account, so you can trade fully manually, run an Expert Advisor (EA), or use any automated strategy you like — it is your skill and your system either way. Because each entry gets its own separate account, you can even run a different bot or strategy on each one. The only rule that applies to everybody: no single trade may account for more than half of your total profit.

  • 9. What can I trade in the contest?

Anything your contest account offers — major and minor forex pairs, indices, metals, and cryptocurrencies. Because crypto trades around the clock, the contest runs 24/7 for its full week.

  • 10. When does each contest run?

Each contest runs for one calendar week — Sunday 00:00 UTC to Saturday 23:59 UTC. Registration for the upcoming contest stays open through the week, and you can also join the contest already in progress.

  • 11. Is Fx2Fund gambling?

No. It is a skill-based contest. You trade a demo account — no real market capital is at stake — and winners are decided by risk-adjusted trading performance against objective, published rules. You must be 18 or older to enter.

  • 12. What happens to my account after the contest?

When the contest ends and prizes are paid, demo accounts are closed — but your full trade history and performance metrics are saved permanently, so you can review every past contest from your dashboard.

  • 13. How do I get paid if I win?

Prizes are credited to your Fx2Fund wallet as soon as the contest is scored. You can withdraw your winnings in crypto from your dashboard at any time.

  • 14. Can I enter more than once?

No — every contestant gets exactly one $100,000 demo account per contest, no exceptions. This keeps Fx2Fund a pure skill match: no one can buy a bigger chance to win by entering multiple times. Your $29.99 buys you one shot, against the same field, with the same starting balance as everyone else. You can enter again every week with a fresh account, and you can reserve a seat in next week's contest while the current one is still running.

  • 15. Is there a guaranteed minimum prize pool?

Yes — every Fx2Fund contest carries a $10,000 guaranteed minimum prize pool. The pool is normally built from entry fees (70% of every $29.99 entry), so it grows with the size of the field. But if a contest draws a smaller field, Fx2Fund tops the pool up from its own reserve so it never drops below $10,000. The top 100 always compete for a worthwhile prize — even at the floor, 1st place takes home $1,000 — and you always know the floor before you enter, even in a quiet week.

  • 16. Why doesn't 100% of entry fees go to the prize pool?

70% of every entry fee goes straight into the prize pool. The remaining 30% keeps the contest running and protected — it covers platform management and operations, trading infrastructure and market data, customer support, and payment processing. Crucially, it also funds the $10,000 minimum-pool guarantee: on busy weeks that 30% builds a reserve, and on quiet weeks the reserve is drawn down to lift smaller pools up to the guaranteed floor. So the 30% isn't just overhead — it's the safety net that lets us promise a real prize pool every single week.

  • 20. What if I lose money or blow my demo account?

You can never lose money of your own — the contest account is a demo, funded with virtual capital. If your account drops sharply or you "blow" it, you simply finish with a low R:R Rating and won't place in the top 100 for that week. There is no penalty, no debt, and no effect on anything else — you can enter again next week with a fresh $100,000 account and a clean slate.

  • 21. How do I know the contest and leaderboard are fair?

Every trader competes on an identical $100,000 account under the exact same published rules. The leaderboard is scored straight from verified trade data pulled from the trading platform — never from anything a trader reports about themselves — and the same R:R Rating formula is applied to everyone, with no exceptions. The board refreshes hourly so you can watch it move in real time, and your full trade history is saved to your dashboard so every result can be checked.

  • 22. Why do I trade a demo account instead of real money?

So the contest is pure skill — and pure upside. A demo account trades real markets at real live prices, so your results reflect genuine trading ability. But because the capital is virtual, you can never lose money of your own — the only thing you ever pay is the $29.99 entry. You get the full challenge of real trading and a real shot at cash prizes, without ever risking your own funds.
